This policy explains, in plain terms, what information we collect when you send us a booking enquiry, why we process it and how we protect it. We collect only what is necessary, keep it only for as long as it is useful, and never sell your data. All processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
When you complete our enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, your email address, your intended stay dates, the number of travellers and the message accompanying your request. To prevent abusive submissions, our system also records your IP address, but only in hashed form, that is, converted into an irreversible fingerprint from which the original address cannot be recovered. We collect no sensitive data and never ask for banking details through this form.
We use this information for a single purpose: to handle your booking enquiry and reply to you. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), in other words the exchanges necessary before a possible booking. The hashed IP address is used solely to protect the form against abuse, under our legitimate interest in keeping the service running properly. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
We keep your enquiry data for as long as needed to respond to it and to manage the exchanges that follow. After that period, if your enquiry does not lead to a booking, the information is purged from our systems on a regular, automated basis. Where a stay is confirmed, the data strictly useful for managing the relationship is retained for the period required and then deleted in turn. You may request the early deletion of your data at any time.
We do not sell, rent or trade your data. It is shared only with the technical providers strictly necessary to operate the service, acting as processors under our instructions: our hosting provider, where enquiry data is stored, on infrastructure located within the European Union; and our email delivery service, which relays the notification of your enquiry to us. These providers are bound by confidentiality and use your data for no other purpose. When you book through a partner platform, that platform's processing of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, and the right to object to and to restrict its processing. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to our contact address. We will respond as promptly as possible and, in any event, within the timeframes set by the regulation. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
Our website relies only on cookies strictly necessary for it to function properly, for example to remember your language preference. Where we measure site traffic, we favour a privacy-respecting solution, with no profiling or advertising tracking, and no sharing of your data for commercial purposes. We use no cookies for targeted advertising or for tracking your browsing across other sites.
